Augmented Reality, a phrase I have heard a mentioned a lot but not really grasped the potential of or even really known what it actually is. Here is the wiki definition.
I also noticed this article in Computer Sweden, showing up some of the AR apps existing for mobile. This article in Advertising Age is somewhat more negative:
For me, I have not yet used it, I will try the iphone apps for sure, but wearing AR glasses on the street feels yet just to futuristic.
Anyone seen a movie called “Strange Days”? I must honestly say that I hated it. It´s one of the few movies I wish I actually just walked out from the cinema instead. I hated the fact that techniques like this that could be used to do amazing stuff would be used in an evil way.
Perhaps I just hate evil.
Back to subject though, anyone have other interesting AR examples?
